I had a skyline view xray for knee pain..it do causes radiation exposure to eyes and thyroid in semi sitting..?

skyline x-ray view for knee may expose ur eyes and thyroid to radiation if done in semi sitting position as i read somewhere on net and i m really scared that if i can grow some malignancy in future years to eyes or thyroid .....can somebody help me telling something true abt it...plz help ..i m really creeped out...
