Marinating frozen steak, any suggestions?

Having beef tenderloin for dinner, the ones that come n the package already wrapped in bacon. They are frozen solid. Should I defrost them in the microwave and then marinate them or just pour some marinade on them and let them thaw some? Any suggestions for a marinade? I have Dales, Soy Sauce. i probably have some wine somewhere too...
