Are ceramic masks wearable?

I've been thinking about creating ceramic masks in my cl, I was going to do some typical venetian styles but I was also thinking of some more elaborate ones like tribal masks and skulls to give to friends... I would make them as light as possible with a thin slab, do you think they would be too delicate or heavy to wear?
