How do i get rid of a slight minor fever, along with throat irritation? HELP!?

Im 16 and i am a dj i have a gig later on tonight, i have a slight fever, its to bad but its irritating nothing over 100, but up there, i want to get rid of it today or at least weaken it, i haven't tried any medicine yet, because i don't know which one would be best, i also have a throat irritation, every time i swallow it hurts and its really annoying PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
