TTC- dark red bleeding 2 days very light...?

My cycles are usually 28d, last mth was 5d late and this mth on the day I was due I had pinkish light spotting when wiping the next day I had dark red but light slimy flow used a tampon but never had alot of blood on it. The next day same but very little only when wiping. Today hardly nothing but BFN, I feel nausea. Was this my period or could it just be to early for BFP. My cyles have never been this erratic! Thanks for any advice.
