Virtual villager?? pls help?

i started playing yesterday, and then i left it, when i opened it today, only 2 ppl left. the othr died :( one was the chief, and the other was 16. the boy ie the chief, so can a chief make kids? of course when he gets older, thts what i meant. can he? oh and i'm playing virtual villager: secret city. plss help!
