What is the dos command prompt for producing sound at a certain frequency?

I used to know this well. There is a dos command that you type followed by or preceeded by a number such as 19550 which is a specific frequency the computer would then produce. I'd like help with the actual command and the syntax for using it. I've forgotten it altogether otherwise. Thanks.
