Which county is best for "idyllic country life" - Yorkshire, Shropshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire read on.?

So which one (And could you tell me which part please) , Yorkshire, Shropshire, Nottinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Cheshire, Lincolnshire, Devon.... anymore you can think of in England.. It would be good if it snowed there in the winter.. Thanks
