Why is it that so many people don't believe that attending church weekly?

Or they think it's harmless to simply attend any old so-called "house of God" and say it's no big deal? I am stunned by people who do not put any emphasis on church attendance or they are so liberal on going to any place that calls itself church whether that congregation follows the word of God exactly as it's written or not because Revelation 22:18-20 says, For I testify unto any man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book: and if any man shall add unto these words of this prophecy, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: and if any man shall take away from the words of this book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book. Acts 2:42 says, And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and breaking of bread, and in prayers. Could somebody please clarify this for me on what believers today are doing with these scripture
