Does she like me ?

My mom called me (I live on campus at my college) and told me that a girl from my school had called to ask for pledges. She then randomly asked her if she was my mother. When my mom said yes she was talking about how I was attentive in cl and bright. She said she was shy and my mom said to introduce herself. So does she like me? It's weird how she knows my name and everything about me and I don't know her. It's also odd how she would call my mom for pledges when there's so many other people on campus and many other guys with my last name. Strange coincidence?
