How come the WWE is getting so gay?

i started watching the wwe/wwf back in the mid 90's and that was just my life... wrestling was the only thing in the world for me.. even the wwe was cool in the early 2000's, some great story lines there, but now its just retarded. the story lines are kinda repetitive and SOO boring. like i still remember that one about shawns injury and i was just thinking WHO THE **** CARES IF HE FAKED IT!? i miss the old superstars and great, well thought out story lines. my personal favorite were scott steiner stacy and test, and chris jericho, christian and trish. that was actually entertaining to watch. why did the wwe get to be so gay?
