What is your personal opinion of the comments made by the "runaway Mum"?

When asked as to why she did not just get a divorce from her husband instead of running away, she answered that it was because of her `spiritual beliefs``. Everybody was searching for her for quite a few days. She ran off with another man, leaving her daughter and husband. They abandoned the car and flattened the tires so that it would like she was abducted. Thinking that they would not look for her if they thought she had been `taken`.
